Information Commissioner's Office
The ICO is the UK’s independent body set up to uphold information rights. The Regulators’ Code came into statutory effect on 6 April 2014 under the Legislative and Regulatory Reform Act 2006, replacing the Regulators’ compliance code. It provides a clear, flexible and principles-based framework for how regulators should engage with those they regulate. Nearly all non-economic regulators, including the ICO, need to have regard to it when developing standards, policies or procedures that either guide their regulatory activities with business or apply to other regulators. Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce
The Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce was established in July, 2013. It was set up by Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce following a lengthy selection process and the go-ahead from the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC). The Chamber is further enhanced by being part of a worldwide network and is one of the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) Accredited Chambers – the largest and most powerful network for business in the UK. Along with its sister Chamber it has become one of the fastest growing Chambers in the UK and is currently the 8th biggest Chamber in the country.
